Christmas at Memorial Park 2026
The sixth Christmas at Memorial Park will be held the first weekend in December 2026. There will be a lighted Christmas area in the Park every evening from December 4th through December 31st. Special events planned for the first weekend include:
A recent Kiwanis club major project was raising funds for the Mercer Health Pediatric Treatment Room. We committed to a pledge of $25,000 that was completed over 5 years.

The Kiwanis Club of Coldwater completed its $50,000 pledge to the Kiwanis Children’s Fund for the International Project called “Eliminate.” in 2019. The goal of the Eliminate Project is to rid the world of maternal/neonatal tetanus. Since Kiwanis International joined UNICEF in the project, Maternal/neonatal tetanus has been eliminated in 27 countries. Risk of the disease still remains in 12 countries.

The Coldwater Ohio Kiwanis Club was chartered by Kiwanis International in 1969 and includes over 60 active men and women. We meet at 11:30 a.m. at the Good Shepherd Church the first three Tuesdays of each month.
Calling all of Santa’s helpers: in need of helping hands to decorate the park. We will be setting up on Saturday, November 7 beginning at 8:30am. We will be at Shelter House #3.
Also, if you are able to help, we will be checking light strands and doing some pre-work this coming Wednesday, October 28 at 5:30pm - Shelter House #3.

Some merry reminders and volunteer needs (please read):
1) Wednesday, October 21 @ 6:30pm at the Coldwater Public Library. Join us tomorrow at our planning meeting to see how you can help. An hour or 2 goes a long way to make this event happen.
2) We are still in need of chairs. We have folks willing to help, information to support, just need the point persons to help divide and conquer. The more hands, the quicker the process.
3) Saturday, November 7. Volunteers to help setup and decorate the park. More information to come - will keep updated of backup plans for inclement weather.
4) Volunteers to be walking characters the weekend of the event: December 4-6.
